This 18ct white gold ring set was a remake of a well-worn wedding and engagement ring. The original rings were simple and geometric; the client wanted something hardwearing, architectural and unique as an update. The original metal was melted and forged, and the diamonds supplemented with a couple of new tiny princess cuts in crisp tension settings.
This intricate locket in silver and recycled spotted gum was designed in conjunction with the client for his wife-to-be.
It features pockets to hold rings, as well as silhouette portraits in timber at the centre.
Sea life corsages
Created for an exhibition at Noosa Regional Gallery, inspired by the artwork of scientific illustrator Ernst Haeckel. The silver and hand carved bone brooches follow the forms of a jellyfish, starfish and sea anemone.
